Photo Club
I am part of a photo club,(Southbay Photo Group. I setup the club for several reasons, first so that photography would not have to be such a solo pastime. The second was that I like sharing skills and knowldge, mine and others. I have been amply rewarded on both accounts.
What I shoot with
I am an opportunistic photographer, rather than a purist.I try and catch what is going on around me in a way that matches the feeling of the scene. Predominantly I like landscape photography, though event photography is certainly up there.
The Gear
I shoot with Canon glass, use Lightroom and Photoshop for post processing and print on an HP Z3100 driven by qImage. If you want to discuss gear drop me a line.
Gear Commentary
Although I love the quality of the prints from the HP Z3100 and it is economical, the quality of HP support for this and other equipment has been so dismal that I will not buy anymore HP equipment. And if you plan on having high end HP equipment, I strongly recommend that you reconsider your choices.
